Santa Barbara and Thousand Oaks

I have a question. My partner and I will be relocating to Santa Barbara. How feasible is a commute from SB to Thousand Oaks for work? Is trafic bad on 101? What would you estimate as the time it would take?

I'd apreciate any help I can get.
